Underground Storage Tank Removal
Project Details:
Removal of one (1) 500-gal UST at a former gasoline station in Los Angeles County, CA in compliance with specifications of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works (LACDPW), Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD), and department of Building & Safety.
Scope of Work:
1. Obtain necessary permits from respective regulatory agencies
2. Coordinate & schedule pre-removal/removal operation & inspections with agencies
3. Install temporary security fencing
4. Cut & break proposed excavation area
5. Dispose of debris and waste generated from excavation
6. Excavate pit to prepare tank removal; excavated material (i.e., soil or gravel) will be refilled into tank pit upon soil sampling
7. UST cleaning work
8. Remove and dispose tank & associated piping
